In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
As an end-user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can return old batteries that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range to our shipping warehouse (shipping address) free of charge. The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol of the crossed-out waste bin means that the battery must not be disposed of in household waste.
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury.
Please note the above information.

Old batteries may contain harmful substances or heavy metals that can harm the environment and health. Batteries also contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled. The environment and DS Shopping GmbH say thank you.

Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
The symbol for the separate collection of electrical and electronic equipment is a crossed-out wheeled bin. The disposal of these electrical devices in household waste is prohibited according to the ElektroG (Act on the placing on the market, return and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment)! As a consumer, you are obliged to dispose of them via the local collection and return systems of your municipality. Consumers can drop off their old electrical appliances free of charge at one of the municipal collection points.
