The Anal Gel by Sensilight is a water-based lubricant made for anal play. It glides for a long time, does not turn sticky and comes off easily with water afterwards. The clear bottle has a white flip-top cap, and the lettering and the band at the bottom are purple. The brand name runs vertically up the bottle in large black letters, and next to it a round seal with a water drop marks the water base. At 30 ml it is small enough for a bedside drawer or a toiletry bag and a good size for trying the gel out first. The gel itself is transparent. Does it get on with condoms and toys?

Yes. It is condom compatible, and as a water-based gel it does not attack latex, silicone, glass or metal. You can use it with a condom just as well as with a silicone plug or dildo.

How much should you use?

Rather too much than too little. The anus produces no moisture of its own, so lubricant is a requirement for anal sex, not an extra. Spread the gel generously around the entrance and on fingers, toy or condom before anything goes in.

What do you do when it wears off?

Does it come out of bed linen?

Yes. A water-based gel leaves no grease stains, and a normal wash is enough.

What should you keep in mind with anal sex?
