❓ FAQ

Is the Alex too big for me?

Fit is decided by the diameter, not by the length. If you already get on well with a somewhat slimmer model, the Alex is the next step up. It is too large for a first toy, and you will find better suited models under sex toys for beginners. If you already own a dildo, measure it and compare it with the figures above.

Which lubricant suits TPR and how do I care for it?

TPR is soft, elastic and takes on body heat quickly, but it is not non-porous. So use water-based lubricant only, because silicone oil turns the surface dull and tacky; thicker gels are under anal and fisting lubricant. Clean it after every use with warm water and a toy cleaner and let it dry through completely. The material does not take boiling.

Does the suction cup hold, and does it fit a harness?

The suction cup holds on smooth, clean surfaces such as tiles or a shower wall, but not on grout or wood. Bear in mind that this length makes for a long lever. Whether the Alex fits a harness depends on the ring: at this shaft diameter you need a large opening, and suitable models are listed under strap-ons and strap-on dildos.

Can it be used anally?

No, it is not meant for anal use. Its base is only slightly wider than the shaft, and the balls do not count as a stop. Only something with a clearly wider, firmly moulded base on the outside is used anally, because the sphincter pulls in whatever it can get hold of.

Which alternatives are there in the shop?

True-to-life models in everyday sizes are listed under realistic and classic dildos, more girth at a similar length is found among the Extreme Dildos, and everything especially long is collected under dildodave's excessive length. How to work up sensibly is covered in our guide Extreme Dildos Even for Beginners and in the dildo guide.
