Do velcro closures hold firmly enough?

For playful restraint, yes. A strong pull will open velcro, and that is exactly what makes these cuffs pleasant for beginners: in an emergency you are free again quickly.

How do you put them on?

Open the velcro strap, wrap the cuff around the joint and press the strap down firmly. Turn the ring to the outside so the snap hook clips in easily.

Do they fit wrists and ankles?

Yes. The velcro strap can be set tighter or looser without steps, so the same cuffs sit on wrists just as well as on ankles.

How does play stay safe?

Close the cuffs only so tight that one finger still fits underneath, and check circulation and feeling in the hands or feet regularly: tingling, numbness, cold or discoloured skin mean open them at once.
