Is it suitable for starting out?

With this diameter it is slim enough if you take your time. Glass does not give, so every millimetre counts for more than with a soft material such as silicone.

What is the curve for?

The curve follows the shape of the body. If you insert it with the tip pointing towards the belly, it rests against the front wall of the vagina.

Can it be used anally?
