Love Liquid Classic by Kamasutra is a water-based lubricant. Does it get on with toys and condoms?

With both. A water-based lubricant is compatible with latex condoms and all toy materials, silicone included. Silicone gel, by contrast, would attack silicone toys, and oil makes latex unsafe; the differences are explained in detail in the lubricant guide.

How much do you need?

Less than you think. A pea-sized blob is enough to start, spread on fingers, toy or condom. You can always add more.

What to do when it fades?

Add a few drops of water. Water-based gels slowly dry in during longer sex; a little water on the skin brings the glide back without you having to apply it afresh.

How does it go on a condom and toy?

On the outside. Put the condom on first and then spread the gel over it, never inside, otherwise it can slip. You coat a toy directly with a thin film.

Is it suitable for sex in the shower?

Not really. Running water quickly dilutes a water-based gel and rinses it away. For the shower or the bath a silicone lubricant has more staying power.

Does it stain?

It washes out with water. You rinse it off skin and toys, and the bedding comes clean again in the normal wash.

What about sensitive skin?

Test it on a small patch. If it burns or itches, rinse the gel off with water and do not use it any further.

How do you store it?

Closed and protected from heat. The bottle is best kept in its folding case in a drawer, cool and out of the reach of children.
