At the front of the collar a ring sits on a small metal plate, and from there two chain strands run down to the two cuffs. What is bonded leather?

Leather fibres pressed into a firm sheet with a binding agent. The surface looks like smooth leather but is more even and easy to wipe clean.

How do you adjust collar and cuffs?

The collar closes with press studs, with several on each end, so you choose the width in steps. The cuffs have a buckle with a row of holes. Put the collar on first and then the cuffs; when taking it off, open the cuffs first so the hands are free straight away.

What are the D-rings for?

Each cuff has three D-rings, and the snap hook for the chain hangs on one of them. Unhook the chains and you are left with a collar and two separate cuffs, which the remaining rings let you link with other chains or snap hooks.
