A hogtie cross by Ouch!: four PU-leather straps with neatly stitched edges meet in the middle at a round, gold-coloured ring. Two gold-coloured rivets keep each strap in shape, and at each end a snap hook hangs from a small ring. With it you link wrist and ankle cuffs to each other behind the back rather than to the bed or furniture. You can choose between a dark wine red (burgundy) and a deep blue-green (petrol), both with the same gold-coloured fittings. There is no animal leather in it. Cuffs are not included. The variant you select before buying. Burgundy and petrol are built the same and are the same size; only the shade of the straps differs.

How much play does the cross allow?

The straps are long enough that hands and feet do not lie directly against each other behind the back. The knees stay bent, but the back does not have to arch strongly.

Which cuffs can you clip in?

Wrist and ankle cuffs with a D-ring or eyelet a snap hook can grip, whether leather, PU or neoprene. Cuffs with gold-coloured fittings match best. The hooks can also be used on their own, for example to link just two wrist cuffs to each other.

What do you watch for in terms of safety?

When the bound person lies on their front, shoulders, back and hips are under heavy strain and deep breathing becomes harder. So stay in this position only briefly. A finger still fits under every cuff; check regularly that hands and feet stay warm and feel normal, and release at once at tingling, numbness or pain. None of it ever goes around the neck. You agree on a stop signal that works without words beforehand, and the bound person is never left alone. The snap hooks open with a press of the thumb; safety scissors still lie within reach.

How do you clean and store it?
