The Finissimo Original condoms by Control are extra thin, made of natural rubber latex and lubricated. There are twelve of them. They come in a dark blue box with a glowing orange ring. Thin changes the feel, not the testing standard: every condom sold in the EU has to meet the same standard regardless of wall thickness. They are not suitable if you have a latex allergy. Store them somewhere dark, cool and dry, not in a wallet and not next to a radiator; the expiry date is on every single wrapper. Which size fits?

The nominal width decides, not the length. Measure the circumference when erect and divide by two; that is the width that has to fit. Too tight is more likely to tear, too wide slips.

Which lubricant suits it?

A water- or silicone-based one. Oil attacks latex: massage oil, petroleum jelly and rich creams make a condom useless within minutes. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Are two condoms safer?

No, less safe. Two on top of each other rub against each other and tear more easily. One condom per act, and a fresh one when switching between anal and vaginal.

What matters when putting it on?

Squeeze the tip so no air stays inside, because trapped air is the most common reason a condom bursts. And it goes on before the first contact, not somewhere in between. If it will not unroll, it is the wrong way round; then take a new one instead of turning it over.

How is it taken off properly?

Straight after ejaculation, while the penis is still erect: hold the ring at the base and withdraw together with the condom so that nothing slips off or leaks. Then tie a knot in it and put it in the household waste, not down the toilet.

How do you open the wrapper?

First push the condom to one side inside the wrapper, then tear it open with your fingers at the edge. Teeth, scissors and long fingernails can damage the latex without it showing.
