A pouch of 144 condoms from the Taste range by Pasante, all in the strawberry flavour: the latex is coloured red and flavoured with strawberry. Each condom is sealed in its own square foil with a serrated edge. The front of the foil is orange and shows four small motifs under the word “Taste”: a piece of chocolate, a strawberry, a blueberry and a mint leaf. The foils hang together in strips. Every Pasante condom is electronically tested. The clear pouch carries a white sticker with the flavour name “Strawberry”. What can you see on the back of the foil?

The back is transparent, so you can see the red condom before you open it. Printed there are “Strawberry”, the batch number and the expiry date, plus CE 0086 and ISO 4074, the standard for natural rubber latex condoms.

How do you put it on correctly?

Open the foil with your fingers, not with teeth or scissors. Pinch the tip so no air stays inside and roll the condom down to the base before any contact, with the rim facing outwards. If you have put it on the wrong way round, take a new one. Never wear two on top of each other, because they rub against each other.

How safe are condoms?

No condom protects one hundred per cent. Used correctly, it lowers the risk of sexually transmitted infections and of unplanned parenthood.

Which lubricant goes with it?

A water-based one, for example from water-based lubricant. Oil, petroleum jelly and greasy creams attack latex.

How do you store the bulk pack?

Cool, dry and out of direct sun, ideally in the pouch in a drawer. In a wallet or the glove box, friction and heat wear the foils. If a foil is damaged or the date has passed, the condom goes in the bin.

Who is it not suitable for?

Anyone with a latex allergy, because natural rubber can cause allergic reactions. Condoms without latex are under condoms.
