Nuru massage gel by Eros is made for nuru massage, where it is not just the hands that work: the whole body glides over the other person’s body. The gel is colourless, odourless and silicone-free and enriched with minerals. On the skin it forms a smooth film on which two bodies slide against each other. The white one-litre bottle with a white cap is meant for couples who already know nuru and keep coming back to it, because a full-body massage uses considerably more gel than a massage with the hands. The bottle shows a red sun with two intertwined bodies. Above it is the EROS lettering, and below it NURU in large black letters. It is made in Germany. What is in it?

The base is water, with aloe vera juice, glycerin, sorbitol and an extract of bladderwrack, a seaweed. It is preserved with phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin.

How do I use it?

Moisten the skin with warm water and put the gel on it, ideally warmed first in your hands or in a bowl. Then massage with your whole body rather than just your hands. If it gets thick, a splash of water brings the glide back.

What do I need underneath?

A waterproof base such as a nuru mat or a sheet of plastic, with towels on top. The gel makes tiles, shower trays and smooth floors very slippery: get up slowly and wipe up spills straight away.

How does it come off?

With warm water in the shower; you usually do not need soap. Wash towels and sheets as normal afterwards.

How long does it keep after opening?

Twelve months. Close the bottle tightly after every massage and keep it cool and out of direct sunlight.
