❓ FAQ
How do you use it?
With warm hands. Put a few drops into your palm, warm them briefly and stroke them over back, arms or legs in long sweeps. Oil does not dry in, so you can massage for a long time without constantly adding more.
Can the oil be warmed beforehand?
Yes, quite easily. Put the closed bottle in warm water for a few minutes, not boiling water, and check the temperature on your wrist before you start.
How does your skin take it?
A test drop shows you. Try the oil first on a small patch in the crook of your arm. You leave out broken or irritated skin and the eyes, and if it burns, you wash it off straight away with water and soap.
Does it go together with condoms?
No. Oil attacks latex and makes condoms unsafe, whatever the oil. Where a condom is involved, you take a gel from water-based lubricant, and you wash the massage oil off first.
Does it get on with toys?
Oil and toys do not go well together. It leaves a film that is hard to get off, and some materials suffer from it. For toys you are better off with a water-based gel; there is more on this in the lubricant guide.
Does the oil stain?
On textiles, yes. Oil does not come out again with water alone, and an old towel underneath saves you the trouble. You wash any residue off the skin with shower gel.
How do you store the bottle?
Closed and protected from light and heat. A cupboard or a drawer is the right place, out of the reach of children.
