Wild Roses is a massage oil by Intimateline Luxuria from the Bio range, made in Italy. It is intended as a “Sensual Massage Oil” for massaging each other, and the formula contains natural oils. It comes in a clear bottle with a black cap, with the wording in English and Italian. For a back massage, put a few drops into your palm, warm them between both hands and spread the oil with flat hands in long strokes. Start with a little; you can always add more. Oil sinks in more slowly than a water-based gel and therefore stays slippery for longer, which is pleasant during a long massage. One hundred millilitres last for quite a few massages, because only a little is needed each time. It stands with the massage products, in the drugstore section and with the sex toys for couples.

Does it work with a condom?

Not with a latex condom. Oil attacks latex, and the condom can tear without you being able to tell beforehand. If you need a condom in the same session, use a water-based lubricant for the intimate area; suitable ones are under water-based lubricant.

Can I use it as a lubricant?

Better not. It is made for massaging the skin, not for mucous membranes, and oil is hard to remove from the vagina or bottom.

Does oil stain?

Yes, greasy marks can stay on bedding and clothes and usually only come out in the wash with detergent. A large towel under the body keeps the sheet clean.

What does Bio in the name mean?

Bio is the name of the Luxuria range. The bottle does not carry an organic seal.

What if my skin is sensitive?

Try the oil on a small spot before the first massage, for example the crook of your arm, and wait a while. Leave it off irritated or broken skin. If the skin reddens or itches, wash the oil off with soap and warm water.

How should I store it?

Tightly closed, cool and out of direct sunlight. Wipe the neck of the bottle briefly after use; that keeps the cap clean and stops oil running down the bottle.
