What is TPE?

A soft, very stretchy plastic, more yielding than silicone but porous. That is why it takes up moisture and odours more easily than smooth, non-porous materials and needs a little more care after every use.

Which lubricant goes with TPE?

A water-based one from water-based lubricant. Oil and silicone lubricant attack TPE, leaving the surface sticky and rough.

How do you clean and dry it?

Rinse the inside of the sleeve with lukewarm water, with a little mild toy cleaner if you like, and then let it dry in the open so that air can get inside. A damp sleeve in a drawer is the surest route to mould; more on it in the care guide.

How do you use it?

Put plenty of lubricant into the opening and spread some on yourself as well, then move the sleeve up and down by hand. Start slowly until the material has warmed up.

How does the embossing feel?

The hemp leaves are slightly raised on the outside. They give your hand some grip, so the sleeve does not slip away as easily even with lubricant on your fingers.

How hard can you squeeze?

As hard as feels good to you. TPE gives a lot; if you squeeze the sleeve, it gets tighter inside and the pressure increases.

Can it go in the water?

Yes, it is submersible and can come into the shower with you. Water does not replace lubricant, though, as it washes away quickly.

How do you store it?

Dry, dust-free and away from other toys, ideally in a pouch of its own. TPE can stick to silicone and to other TPE if they lie against each other for a long time.
