How far is it inserted?

Up to where the butterfly starts. From the tip to that point is a little more than half of the device; the rest is the handle with the control panel. The arm is fixed in place; only trying it out shows whether it lands exactly on the right spot for you.

Which button does what?

The functions are paired on the buttons. Besides the on/off switch there is one button for vibrating and tapping and one for rolling and nodding. The fourth, the burst button, sits separately at the very bottom of the handle.

How is it charged?

With a magnetic USB cable. The plug clings to two contacts on the handle, there is no open charging port, and the vibrator needs no batteries.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone-based lubricant can attack the silicone surface and make it tacky. A thin film on the shaft is enough; tubes can be found under water-based lubricant.

How do you clean it?

With warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner. As it is waterproof, you may rinse it under running water. Lubricant likes to collect between the wings and antennae, so take a second look there. Then let it air-dry and store it dust-free, apart from other toys.
