Where exactly do the beads rotate?

In the head, that is at the tip of the shaft. The bead ring lies there under the silicone; the thrusting movement comes from the section below it.

How do you charge it?

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone lubricant can attack the silicone surface and make it tacky. Because the upper shaft moves, it is better to apply a little more; matching tubes are under water-based lubricant.
