The Whaam in purple is a mini vibrator from the American Pop range by Doc Johnson. Its silicone head opens at the top into two lobes, much like a flower bud that is just opening. Towards the grip the sleeve narrows and ends in a small bulge, below which sit a silver decorative ring and the white lower part. The silicone sleeve sits removably on a vibrating insert that brings ten different functions. The surface of the sleeve is smooth and matt, and the silicone feels soft and supple. How is it best placed?

Rest the notch between the two lobes against the clitoris or a nipple, and the lobes embrace it from both sides. For a single point, tilt it slightly so that only one lobe touches. Start with a gentle function and build up slowly.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based lubricant. Silicone-based products do not get on with the silicone sleeve and can permanently change its surface. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Is it suitable for anal play?

No. It has no flared base to stop it slipping inside. Use it externally only.

How is it cleaned?

Take off the sleeve and clean it with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner. The insert is only wiped with a damp cloth and not submerged. Only when everything is dry do you put the parts back together. Further models are under vibrators.

How do you store it?

Ideally on its own in a fabric pouch and apart from other toys, so the purple sleeve neither gives off nor takes on colour. Keep it dry and out of direct sunlight, and the silicone stays supple for a long time.
