What do the beads in the shaft do?

They run in a circle and work at the entrance where most nerves are. The vibration works deeper; the two together are more than either one doubled.

Two buttons instead of one, why?

Because switching on and off and stepping through the levels are two different things. With one button you have to go through every level to switch off again.

What does water resistant mean here?

That it may be cleaned under running water. Submerging it for longer is not included; the seal sits at the battery cap.

How is it cleaned?

Warm water and toy cleaner, keeping clear of the charging contacts and letting it dry completely. The only lubricant that belongs with it is water-based lubricant, because silicone-based products attack the surface.
