Which lubricant fits?

Take a water-based one. It is compatible with all toy materials and washes off easily. A selection is under water-based lubricant.

What is the best way to start?

With the lowest of the three speeds and plenty of lubricant. Insert it slowly, take your time, and only build up once it feels good.
