Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone oil attacks silicone and leaves the surface dull and tacky - that cannot be undone. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Which setting do you start on?

The lowest. That is not caution but practice: from the bottom you can build, from the top you cannot - and the strongest setting feels weaker after a while, not stronger.

May it go under water?

Rinsing yes, submerging only if it is expressly waterproof. Water-resistant and waterproof are two different claims, and the difference shows only when it is too late.

How is it cleaned and stored?
