A lubricant with no scent, no colour and no taste: the water-based lubricant by Aqua Quality is deliberately kept neutral and is therefore what you actually need day to day. It does not soak in at once, can be woken up again with a drop of water instead of being topped up, and leaves no sticky film. Because it is water-based it suits condoms as well as silicone, glass and metal toys, and residue washes off with water. It stands with the water-based lubricants, in the drugstore and beside the anal and fisting lubricants.

Is the 100 ml bottle the sensible size?

For most people yes. It lasts considerably longer than the travel size, still sits discreetly in a bedside table and is used up before the best-before date. Only regular heavy users do better with the litre bottle.

How long does an opened bottle keep?

The best-before date on the bottle applies to unopened goods; after opening there is usually a period in months stated beside it. Stored cool and dark the gel keeps longest, in the bathroom above a radiator shortest.

Is it compatible with condoms and toys?

Yes, and that is why water-based is the standard. Oil attacks latex and silicone oil dulls silicone toys, while a water-based gel does neither. It therefore suits every one of our condoms and every toy in the range.

How are stains and residue removed?

With water, and nothing more is needed. That is the practical advantage over silicone gel, which settles into fabrics. Toys are then rinsed with warm water and toy cleaner.
