Do they really hold up in water?

They take up no water and therefore lose neither shape nor weight. What they cannot do is stay in place in a bikini top without an inner pocket.

Which bra do they fit?

Any one with a closed cup or an inner pocket. An unlined bralette gives them no hold, so they slip.

How are they cleaned?

By hand with lukewarm water and mild soap, then left to air-dry flat. Not in the machine and not in the tumble dryer.

Does the edge show under a shirt?

Not under cotton; the rim is thinned out for exactly that. Under very thin, shiny fabric a look in the mirror first is worth it.
