🍓 More flavour, more room to play
Flavoured lubricants make oral play more appealing and bring a playful note to your time together. The flavoured gels are usually water-based, easy to rinse off and pleasant on the skin.
Popular flavours
- Fruity – strawberry, cherry or melon.
- Fresh – subtly cooling versions.
- Sweet – for anyone with a sweet tooth.
- Creamy – chocolate, vanilla or caramel.
- Tingling – versions with a light fizzing effect.
🍬 Sugar or sweetener – the difference that counts
Flavoured gels taste sweet, and that is exactly where the ingredients list is worth a look. Gels sweetened with sugar or plenty of glycerin are harmless in the mouth – but not ideal intimately: yeast feeds on sugar, and anyone prone to thrush invites exactly that. Sugar-free versions with sweetener avoid the problem and taste barely different.
From that follows the practical rule for this category: flavoured gels are made for oral play and for the skin, not as a lubricant for penetration. If you want both in one session, switch over to a neutral water-based lubricant in between – less trouble than it sounds, and it spares you the usual irritation the day after.
- ✅ Sugar-free and low in glycerin – the gentler choice
- ✅ Water-based and therefore condom-safe
- ✅ For oral play and on the skin – switch to neutral for penetration
- 🚫 Not on irritated mucous membrane
Bringing variety into play
Apply the gel where you want to enjoy it and let yourselves be surprised. If you would rather keep things neutral, you will find alternatives among our water-based lubricants. Combined with condoms you are playing safely, and the full selection is in the lubricant category. One small tip: try different varieties together and find out which one you like best. That way choosing becomes a little piece of foreplay in itself, and you discover new favourite flavours along the way. Inspiration for sensual moments is in our guide The perfect foreplay. What matters with oral sex is covered in the article Oral pleasure through blowjob and cunnilingus.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Can I use flavoured gel for penetration too?
Better not. The flavourings and sweeteners can irritate the vaginal flora. For penetration a neutral water-based gel is the better choice.
Does it work with condoms?
Yes, as long as the gel is water-based – and flavoured gels almost always are. You will find matching condoms with us too. Only oil-based products make latex porous.
Why does it taste sweeter than I expected?
Because a large part of taste runs through smell, and the gels are flavoured accordingly strongly. Using a little often feels more pleasant than using a lot.
Is sugar in a lubricant a problem?
Not in the mouth, but intimately yes: yeast feeds on it. Anyone prone to thrush should choose a sugar-free version low in glycerin.
How long does an opened bottle keep?
Usually six to twelve months after opening. Do not apply it straight from the bottle – onto your hand first keeps the contents clean for longer.
How is it delivered?
In neutral packaging that gives no clue as to the contents, and the same applies to the debit on your bank statement. Shipping within Germany is free, with no minimum order value.
