🎯 Love balls – discreet stimulation for in between

Love balls, often also called pleasure balls, are inserted and worn in place. As you move, the weights inside roll around and create a gentle, tingling sensation. At the same time the pelvic floor muscles automatically work to hold the balls in place – which is why they are also used for training.

✨ The variants at a glance

  • Single balls – ideal for getting started, easier to hold and pleasantly discreet
  • Double balls – two connected balls for more stimulation and more intensive training
  • Models in different weights – for increasing step by step, usually 30 to 100 grams
  • Balls with vibration – additional stimulation by remote control or app
  • Sets with several weights – they grow with your training progress

💪 Training the pelvic floor

A trained pelvic floor can intensify sensation during sex and helps prevent bladder weakness. Start with 10 to 15 minutes a day and increase slowly. Important: do not wear them permanently – the muscle needs recovery phases like any other. Once the balls stay in place without any effort, it is time for more weight or a smaller diameter.

📅 What a sensible training plan looks like

  • Weeks 1 to 2: a large, light single ball, 10 to 15 minutes lying down or sitting.
  • Weeks 3 to 4: the same ball while standing and walking – the muscles work considerably harder that way.
  • From week 5: switch to heavier or smaller balls, starting lying down again.
  • Plan in breaks: one to two training-free days a week are part of it.

After giving birth or after an operation, it is worth talking to your doctor or midwife first – an overworked pelvic floor tends to cramp rather than grow stronger.

💡 Choosing and using them

To begin with, choose lighter, somewhat larger balls with a retrieval cord that is easy to grip. Larger balls are easier to hold and therefore more beginner-friendly – small and heavy ones challenge the muscles considerably more. A drop of lubricant makes insertion easier, and after wearing them you clean the balls thoroughly. For silicone balls, use water-based lubricant and a sex toy cleaner.

If you like more targeted stimulation, they combine well with vibrators or special G-spot vibrators. You can read why masturbation is natural and pleasurable in our article Masturbation – natural, healthy and pleasurable.

🚨 Cleaning

After every wear, clean with warm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner. Pay particular attention to the seam between the ball and the cord – residues collect there. The cord itself should be checked regularly: if it is brittle or frayed, replace the set. Then let everything dry completely.

❓ Frequently asked questions

How long should I wear love balls?

10 to 15 minutes a day to begin with, later up to half an hour. Wearing them permanently makes no sense – the muscle needs recovery.

Large and light or small and heavy?

Large and light to start with – they are easier to hold. Small, heavy balls challenge the muscles considerably more and come later.

Can I walk around with them all day?

Better not. As with any muscle training, constant strain leads to tension rather than strength. Short, regular sessions achieve more.

Are love balls suitable after giving birth?

Often yes, but not straight away and not without advice. Talk to your doctor or midwife about the right time beforehand.

How is it delivered?

In neutral packaging that gives no clue as to the contents, and the same applies to the debit on your bank statement.
