How do you apply it?

Put a small amount on your fingertips, massage it gently into the outside of the anus and let the gel work for a few minutes. It does not go on wounds or irritated skin, nor into the eyes; if some gets in, rinse at once with clear water.

What do you watch out for when sensitivity drops?

Pain is a warning signal and must not be masked: go slowly, and stop at once if there is pain or blood. Pay deliberate attention to how pressure and stretching feel, and give your body the time it needs.

Does it replace a lubricant?

No. For penetration you also use plenty of lubricant; you will find a selection under water-based lubricant. Combine condoms only with a lubricant that is explicitly considered condom-compatible.

What applies before oral sex?

Wash the gel off thoroughly with water beforehand. It is not meant to be swallowed.

How do you test whether you tolerate it?

Before first use, apply a little to the inside of your elbow and wait a few hours. If the spot burns, itches or reddens, wash it off and stop using it. Limonene, eugenol, isoeugenol and linalool are listed individually as fragrances; if you do not tolerate one of them, leave the gel out.
