How much do I need?

More than for vaginal sex. Apply it generously to the anus and to the finger, toy or penis; in anal sex too little gel is a more common problem than too much.

Do I have to top it up?

On longer sessions yes, that is normal with a water base: the gel dries out over time. A few drops of water bring back the glide, and so does a fresh portion.

How do I get it off again?

With warm water; you do not need soap. It also washes out of bed linen and leaves no grease stains.

How do I clean toys afterwards?
