A plug in three stages: the Large Plug by All Black stacks three bulges on top of each other, each distinctly broader than the one above. A small dome sits on top, then comes a first bulge, after it a second and finally the third, which brings the full twelve centimetres. Waists lie between the steps every time, where everything can settle before it goes on. The plug is therefore a staircase: every step is a goal of its own, and where you stop is your decision. A broad round foot stands at the bottom. Thirty-eight centimetres of height is build height, not a target. The TPR is soft and gives way strongly sideways, so every bulge can be compressed as it passes. Without that give the third bulge would be out of reach for most. Do I have to take all three bulges?

No, and very few people do. The steps are an offer, not a programme. Between two bulges you can pause as long as you like without anything changing, and many stay with the first or second for good. The standing base makes sure nothing can disappear.

What sets it apart from the Tree?

The number of steps and their spacing. The Tree works with many small ledges; here there are three large ones. For the patient that is an advantage. That makes every step bigger, but leaves more room to rest in between. Which division suits you better shows only in comparison.

How much lubricant does it need?

Plenty, topped up continuously, because every waist wipes a little off as it passes. What suits the job is in the lubricant guide.

How do I care for it?

Work thoroughly in the waists between the bulges with warm water and toy cleaner, as that is where most settles. Dry it completely afterwards and store it on its own, because porous TPR takes on odours. Use water-based anal lubricant only.
