Is the plug suitable for the bottom?

No. The plate with the stone is hardly wider than the thickest point and therefore not a safe stop. Only toys with a clearly wider base all round are used anally, because the sphincter pulls inwards whatever it gets hold of.

Is the stone a real diamond?

No. It is made of cut glass; Diamond is the name of the model.

What should you watch for with metal?

Check the plug before every use for edges, scratches and burrs, and make sure the stone sits firmly in its setting. A loose stone or a rough spot means you no longer use it. Metal takes on warmth and cold quickly. So warm or cool it only gradually, for example under running water, and test the temperature on the inside of your wrist first.
