Why are there four sizes?

Because Livco Corsetti grades this range singly - S, M, L and XL instead of the usual double sizes S/M and L/XL. That fits more precisely, but it also requires knowing one's size.

What is the ribbon at the front for?

It divides the fabric and directs the eye downwards. It is sewn only at the top; the rest falls loose and moves when walking.

What is a babydoll?

A short, loosely falling slip with shaped cups and narrow straps. It clings at the top and falls loosely below - which is exactly why it wears more comfortably than a body and forgives more than a dress.

Is the thong included?

Yes, it belongs to the set and is cut from the same fabric. Both pieces are matched to each other; they are not available separately.

How long is a babydoll?

To just below the bottom. It covers less than a nightdress and more than a body - in the manufacturer's photos the hem ends about halfway down the thigh.

How is it washed?

By hand, cool and without fabric softener. Elastane loses its recovery in heat, and lace does not like a drum. Dry flat, do not wring.

What is in the fabric?

Ninety-five per cent polyamide and five per cent elastane. Polyamide is smooth, tear-resistant and does not shrink, elastane gives the stretch - without the second part no piece of this kind would sit tightly, without the first it would be stretched out after three wears.
