Go by the bust and hip measurement. Chilirose cuts to European sizing; anyone between two sizes takes the larger one.

Where does the back band sit?

Below the shoulder blades. The narrow band runs across the back and joins the two sides of the top; the chiffon skirt only starts a little lower, at the waist.

How deep is the neckline?

To below the bust. Between the lace panels the centre stays open; right at the bottom they meet at a small bow.

How is the lace worked?

With a scalloped edge. The scallops line the neckline on both sides right up to the neck, and the flowers spread across the whole top.

How see-through is the fabric?

Clearly at the skirt. The chiffon is sheer; the floral lace at the top covers a little more.

How is it washed?

By hand at thirty degrees, with a delicate detergent and no fabric softener. In the machine only inside a laundry bag on a gentle cycle; a tumble dryer ruins the elastic.
