A bath salt by Kamasutra from the “Treasures of the Sea” range: strong blue salt grains with larger clear crystals in between, in a see-through jar with a black lid. The jar is printed all round with sea motifs, with shells, starfish, seaweed tendrils and a mermaid. Scattered into the bath water, the salt dissolves and turns the water a bright blue. It suits a bath for two that starts the evening. It stands with intimate hygiene, under drugstore, with the sex toys for couples and with massage products.

How much do you use per bath?

As much as you like the blue. Start with a handful and add more if the water is too pale for you. Under the running tap the salt spreads fastest; stir the water with your hand afterwards so that no grains stay lying on the bottom of the tub.

What applies to the first bath?

Start small. Use only a little salt the first time and rinse off briefly with clear water after the bath. If your skin burns or itches, get out of the tub and rinse off the salt water. The bath water should not get into your eyes.

Does it stain the tub?

Simply rinse it out after the bath. Let the water out and shower down tub, grouting and fittings with clear water straight away, while everything is still wet.

Does lubricant go with it?

In water, silicone rather than water-based. A water-based gel is quickly diluted and washed away in the bath water, silicone lubricant lasts longer there; suitable ones are under silicone lubricant. Bear in mind that it makes the bottom of the tub slippery.

How do you store the jar?

Dry and tightly closed. Salt draws moisture and clumps otherwise. So reach in with dry hands or a dry spoon and put the lid back on straight after every bath.
