The Soft Tampons Original by Joydivision are small sponges of soft, pink foam for your period, and they do without a retrieval string altogether. How is it inserted?

With one finger, there is no applicator. Wash your hands first, squeeze the sponge together slightly and push it in; inside it unfolds again and settles in place.

How do you get it out again?

With one finger as well. Without a string you reach for the soft foam and pull it out slowly. Squatting and pushing gently makes it easiest.

How long does it stay in?

No longer than an ordinary tampon. Change it regularly, do not leave it in overnight and take it out at once if anything feels wrong.

How are the sponges wrapped?

Each one on its own. A sponge lies in a clear plastic tray sealed with film. That way you can put single pieces in your handbag or sports bag without opening the rest.

Can it be used more than once?

No, every sponge is meant for one single use. After wearing it goes into the household waste and not down the toilet; it is not washed out and inserted again.
