What does crotchless mean?

That the crotch is open - the body does not have to come off for sex. That is the only difference from a closed model, and it is a big one.

What does one size mean here?

Leg Avenue lists one size as EU 34 to 40 and plus size as EU 42 to 46. With bodystockings the width is rarely the problem - the fabric stretches a long way. The length is: it hardly stretches, and on a very tall frame the crotch pulls downwards.

Do the rhinestones hold?

They are worked in, not glued on. Washed by hand they stay where they are; in a washing drum they catch, and that is where the net tears.

How do you put it on without ruining it?

Like tights: rings off, nails checked, gather the fabric down to the foot, step in and roll it up bit by bit. Anyone yanking at it catches a stitch - and that one ladders.

What do you do when a stitch ladders?

A drop of clear nail varnish at the top and bottom end of the ladder stops it straight away. It is not pretty, but it saves the evening - and on coarse net you hardly see it.

How is it washed?

By hand in cold water or in a laundry net on a delicate cycle, then dried flat. No dryer and no fabric softener - both take the tension out of the yarn.

Can it be worn as a top?
