The Body Lagerta by Casmir is a black teddy, that is a one-piece body, in size S/M. The centre is made of smooth, shiny fabric, and the cups and sides carry sheer inserts with a multicoloured zigzag pattern in shades of red, green and beige, their edges trimmed in black. The inserts run down the sides from the bust to the hips. Below the bust, fine straps meet at a small ring and leave an open cut-out, and at the back the shoulder straps meet via several thin straps in another ring, from which three straps run down to the back panel. The leg openings are cut high, and the rear is cut like a thong. The material is polyester with elastane, stretchy and close-fitting. On sizing: lingerie fits differently from brand to brand, and with stretchy material the size above is the more comfortable one when in doubt, because anything that pinches does not get worn. So try it on before the evening arrives. Taking it off takes patience: fine straps and inserts tear exactly where they are pulled. How do you put it on?

First untangle the straps at the back so that nothing sits twisted. Then step in with your legs, pull the body up over your hips and finally lay the straps over your shoulders; that way the fabric is not dragged over your head.

How is the body washed?

By hand at thirty degrees, without fabric softener and on its own, because dark lingerie can bleed on the first wash; it is dried lying flat. Softener takes the tension out of the elastics.

Is anything else included?

No, the body comes on its own. The earrings in the pictures are not included either. Matching stockings and more lingerie are under lingerie.

How is the body stored?

Lying flat, not folded and not on a hanger. Delicate inserts warp when they hang, and elastics go slack when they lie permanently stretched.
