The Body Lara by Casmir is a black teddy, that is a one-piece body, in size S/M. At the front a deep V-neck with decorative lacing runs far down, framed by sheer lace with a sweeping wave pattern that continues over the shoulders; the sides are made of smooth, shiny fabric. The back is cut low, a tie holds it at the nape of the neck, and the leg openings are cut high. At the back, too, the lace covers the shoulder blades. At the rear it is cut skimpy and leaves part of the bottom bare. The lacing at the front consists of narrow black ribbons that cross over the lace. The material is 80% polyester and 20% elastane, stretchy and close-fitting. On sizing: lingerie fits differently from brand to brand, and with stretchy material the size above is the more comfortable one when in doubt, because anything that pinches does not get worn. So try it on before the evening arrives. Taking it off takes patience: lace tears at exactly the seam that gets pulled. How do you put it on?

Undo the tie at the nape of the neck, step in with your legs, pull the body up over hips and bust and finally fasten the tie again. That way nothing has to go over your head, and the lacing at the front stays as it is.

How is the body washed?

By hand at thirty degrees, without fabric softener and on its own, because dark lingerie can bleed on the first wash; it is dried lying flat. Softener takes the tension out of the elastics.

Is anything else included?

No, the body comes on its own. The earrings in the pictures are not included either. Matching stockings and more lingerie are under lingerie.

How is the body stored?

Lying flat, not folded and not on a hanger. Lace warps when it hangs, and elastics go slack when they lie permanently stretched.
