Fine mesh lies close at the top, over the belly a diamond-shaped area opens up in markedly wider meshes, and from the hip on wide mesh takes over the whole length of the leg. The change in mesh width is the actual pattern; there is no printed one. Over the bust the mesh is woven more densely and traces the shape of a top.
