The Bolero Radiance by CalExotics is a hooded shoulder shrug made of black mesh with small rhinestones all over. It consists of a hood, a narrow shoulder piece and two long sleeves reaching to the wrist. It is completely open at the front, leaving bust and stomach bare, and at the back the mesh ends at about shoulder-blade level. It is made of 92% nylon and 8% elastane; the mesh stretches and hugs arms and shoulders closely. Under light the hood and sleeves glitter with every movement, so the arms in particular catch the eye. It is worn on bare skin, over a bra, a bandeau top or a bodysuit. Only the bolero is included. It comes in a black and pink package with a photo and glittering Radiance lettering. It sits under lingerie, under lingerie for women and in our for the top section.

How is it put on?

Like a short jacket: arms into the sleeves first, then put the hood up or leave it down at the back. There is no fastening; the stretchy mesh keeps it in place. Take off rings and bangles beforehand so they do not catch in the mesh.

Does the hood have to be up?

No. Down, it lies loosely between the shoulders; up, it frames hair and face. Both look intentional, and you can switch during the evening.

What does it cover, and what not?

It covers head, shoulders and arms, nothing else. The bust stays bare, so it goes with any top you want to show underneath, or is worn quite deliberately with nothing underneath.

How is it washed?

By hand only, most gently in cool water with a little mild detergent and no fabric softener. Press the water out carefully, do not wring, and let the bolero dry flat on a towel. Folded flat in storage, the sleeves do not catch on other lingerie.
