The Bolero Radiance by CalExotics is a hooded shrug in plus size: it covers head, shoulders and arms and leaves the chest and stomach uncovered. It is made of black mesh covered all over with rhinestones. The sleeves reach down to the wrists, at the back it covers only the shoulders, and the back below stays bare. The hood is also covered with rhinestones; it can be worn up or left to fall down the back. The fabric is 92% nylon and 8% elastane, and under the light it sparkles all round. It comes in a black and pink package with a photo and glittering Radiance lettering. The front carries the name Hooded Shoulder Shrug. It sits under lingerie, under lingerie for women and in our for the top section.

Which size fits?

It fits up to size 3X, and the stretchy fabric sits close to the body. For smaller sizes the same bolero is also available in the regular size.

Is the mesh see-through?

Yes. The diamond-shaped meshes are open, and the skin shows clearly through on the arms and shoulders.

How is it washed?

By hand only at thirty degrees, without fabric softener and without wringing, then dry flat. That keeps the mesh and rhinestones in shape.

What do you wear underneath?

Depending on the occasion nothing, a bra or a bodysuit. The Radiance range also includes a bandeau top and a suspender belt, both also in plus size, among other pieces. Matching pieces are under lingerie.

How do you put it on?

Like a short jacket: first the arms into the sleeves, then put the hood up or leave it down at the back. There is no fastening. Take off rings, watches and bangles first so they do not catch in the mesh, and slip into the sleeves carefully with long fingernails.

How is it stored?

Lying flat and not crumpled, so the stones do not snag and the mesh does not lose its shape.
