How do you put the hood on?

Open the lacing at the back of the head wide and the zip of the outer hood all the way. Pull the hood over the head and line up the eye and nose holes of the inner hood exactly. Then tighten the lacing until the hood fits closely without pressing, and tie it with a bow that opens again with one pull.

What does the zip change?

With the zip open, the person sees through the eye openings of the inner hood. With the outer hood closed it covers the whole face with no opening: it goes completely dark, and a layer of PU leather then also lies over the breathing holes. The zip is therefore the place where you give back light and air at once.

What do you watch with breathing?

Breathing happens only through the nose, and it must stay free the whole time. With a cold or a blocked nose the hood stays away, and it is never combined with a gag. Wear it only briefly, never for sleeping, and never leave the person in it alone for a moment. With shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea or panic, open the zip first and then the lacing at once.
