The bondage ice lock from the Steel line is a time lock without clockwork and without a key. It consists of two parts in polished stainless steel: a hollow ball with a ring on it and a perforated pin that also carries a ring. You fill the ball with water, put the pin in and place both in the freezer. Once the water is frozen, the ice holds the pin fast, and the two rings can be clipped onto cuffs or chains, for example. Only when the ice melts does the pin come free again. With the pin in place, the two rings sit exactly opposite each other on the ball. How long does the ice last?

That cannot be planned reliably. Room temperature, amount of water, body heat and movement change the melting time a great deal. So the melting time is never the plan for when someone is free.

What must be ready anyway?

A second way to release. Keys for the cuffs or safety scissors for rope are within reach at all times. Whoever is tied up is never left alone, circulation is checked regularly and a stop signal is agreed beforehand.

Where must the lock never go?

Never on the neck. Nor does it belong on any restraint that carries body weight or restricts breathing. It makes most sense linking wrist or ankle cuffs to each other.

Isn't the frozen ball very cold?

How is it cleaned?
