Bondage Rope Admiral Japanese Blue 10 m 🪢
Rope is the oldest way to restrain someone and the one that asks for the most practice. Whether it turns out beautiful or dangerous comes down to one thing above all: the load spreads over several wraps rather than one. Rope never goes around the neck, not even loosely. The Admiral rope by CalExotics is a blue rope in the Japanese style made of three tightly twisted strands with a silky, glossy surface; both ends sit in black caps so nothing frays. It comes as a bundled hank and is carefully pulled open before first use so it does not tangle. Before every use the rope runs through your fingers once: where it thins or opens up, it carries no more load. Agree on a safeword beforehand at which everything is untied immediately. Suspension is another matter again from floor work and belongs in practised hands, however good the rope is. It sits under bondage, under BDSM sex toys and in our fetish sex toys section.

❓ FAQ
How long does a rope have to be?
A few metres are enough for wrists or ankles; for chest and torso it quickly becomes eight to ten. So this length is enough for a single tie on wrists and ankles or around the upper body; the same rope also comes longer. Better a piece too long than one wrap too few.
Which knot holds without cutting in?
One that does not tighten further under tension. Practise it first on your own leg or on a chair leg before it goes on a person. Two fingers must fit between rope and skin, always.
What should lie next to it?
Safety scissors with a rounded tip that open everything in seconds if needed, without injuring the skin. More is under bondage.
How is it cared for?
Store it dry, loosely coiled rather than tightly wound and away from heat and direct sunlight. If it gets wet, let it dry lying flat.
How do you start a tie?
For most ties the rope is folded in the middle and used doubled: the fold, called the bight, is the start, and the two capped ends follow. Doubled, it lies wider on the skin, and every wrap carries two strands instead of one.
