The Lara bra set by Casmir consists of two pieces, a triangle bra and briefs, here in size L/XL. Both pieces combine smooth, glossy black fabric with lace: the inner halves of the cups and the front centre panel of the briefs show a graphic leaf pattern of black lace over a light underlay. Between the cups, narrow straps cross over the décolleté, and the shoulder straps adjust in length via small gold-coloured sliders. The briefs pick up the strap motif again. At the front two bands cross and continue round the sides of the hips, and at the back a thin band sits above the waistband, held together in the middle by a gold-coloured ring. How does size L/XL fit?

L/XL is cut for dress sizes L and XL. Because the fabric contains elastane, it gives and adapts, so one size covers two steps. If you are between two sizes, the larger one is usually the better choice, because the bands on the briefs should lie flat and not cut in.

How do you put on the bands of the briefs correctly?

Pull the briefs up as usual first and then arrange the bands: at the front they should cross in the middle over the stomach and run smoothly over the hip bones from there. Slide the ring at the back to the centre so that both sides sit equally taut. A quick look in the mirror shows twisted spots fastest.

How do you wash the set?

Gentlest by hand in cool water with a little delicate detergent. Afterwards just press the water out instead of wringing the pieces, and let them dry lying flat. For the first few washes, black lingerie is better washed separately from light colours.

Are stockings or suspenders included?

No, you receive the bra and the briefs. The set has no suspenders. If you want to wear stockings with it, hold-ups with a grip band suit it best.

How do you store it?

Lay the bra and briefs flat in the drawer with the straps loosely beside them, so they do not tangle and the lace stays smooth. Sliders and ring catch easily on other lingerie, and a compartment of their own or a laundry bag protects against that.
