What are the chains at the cups for?

They border the bust. The cups are worked open, and the chains run where fabric would otherwise sit.

What do open cups mean?

The frame stays, the surface is missing. Lace borders the bust without covering it - the hold comes from the neck band and the under-bust band.

How is wet look cared for?

Wipe it with a damp cloth. A washing machine, a dryer and fabric softener attack the coating; otherwise it cracks open.

How does the size come out?

How is it washed?
