What are the bands at the leg for?

They run from the bustier over the hip to the thigh. Clips hold them; taken off, the bustier stays wearable on its own.

Does the print fade in the wash?

Not with hand washing below 30 degrees. A washing machine, fabric softener and direct sun do attack the pattern.

How tightly does a bustier lace?

As tightly as the ribbon is pulled. It shapes the waist but does not press it like a corset with steel bones.

How does the size come out?

Rather snug. Chilirose cuts to European sizing; anyone between two sizes takes the larger one - lingerie should sit close, not cut in.

How is it washed?

By hand at thirty degrees, with a delicate detergent and no fabric softener. In the machine only inside a laundry bag on a gentle cycle; a tumble dryer ruins the elastic.

What if a thread pulls?

Do not cut it off - draw it inside with a blunt needle. A cut thread keeps running, a pulled-through one holds.

How is it stored?

Lying flat, not on a hanger. Lace and elastic give way under their own weight if a piece hangs for months.

How discreetly does it arrive?

In a plain box with no hint of the contents. The sender line says nothing that would tell the neighbours anything.
