Is ABS worse than silicone?

Not worse, different. A hard housing transmits the vibration more directly and precisely, soft silicone spreads it and feels more pleasant. If you prefer silicone, you will find it at lay-on vibrators.

Are ten modes enough?

For most people more than enough. What matters is not the number anyway but whether the lowest mode is gentle enough. If you want it stronger, more powerful devices are at massage wands.

How is it cleaned?

Wipe it with warm water and a product from the sex toy cleaner category. ABS is smooth and non-porous, so nothing settles in it. The packaging does not say whether it may be submerged - when in doubt, only wipe it.
