Control Latex Free is a polyurethane condom and contains no latex. The folding sleeve holds 5 of them. They are transparent, lubricated, ultra-thin and odourless and have a reservoir at the tip. The fit goes by the name Close Feel Technology. Each condom comes individually in a foil that tears open easily. It was developed by Sagami in Tokyo. The folding sleeve is blue with a light gradient and carries the Control logo with the slogan “Feel make feel”, a blue swirl and the note “0 % Latex”. Who is it meant for?

For people with a latex allergy, on either side: if one of you reacts to latex, a polyurethane condom is the alternative to a latex one.

How do you put it on correctly?

Before the first contact, not halfway through. Squeeze the reservoir while putting it on so no air stays inside, and roll the condom down to the base of the penis. Two condoms on top of each other rub together and tear more easily, and you use each one only once.

Which lubricant goes with it?

A water- or silicone-based one; you will find a selection under water-based lubricant.

How do you store the condoms?

Cool, dry and out of the sun, not permanently in a wallet, trouser pocket or glove compartment. Every foil carries the expiry date; do not use expired condoms or ones with a damaged foil.

What do you do after sex?

Hold the condom at the rim while pulling out so it does not slip off, and only then take it off. Afterwards, tie a knot in it and put it in the household waste, not down the toilet.

What do you do if a condom tears or slips off?

Stop straight away and use a new condom. If semen got into the vagina or rectum, get advice promptly from a doctor or a counselling centre.

How reliably do condoms protect?

No condom protects one hundred per cent. Used correctly, it lowers the risk of sexually transmitted infections and of unplanned parenthood.
