❓ FAQ
When and how is the condom put on?
Before there is any genital contact, and only on the erect penis. Open the foil with your fingers, not with your teeth. Then pinch the reservoir at the tip so that no air stays inside and roll the condom down to the base with the rolled rim on the outside. If you have placed it the wrong way round, take a new one. After ejaculation, hold the rim and pull out while the penis is still erect.
What does the nominal width tell you?
It is the width of the condom lying flat and determines the fit; the length hardly matters for that. If it is too loose, it can slip off; if it is too tight, it pinches and is more likely to tear.
Which lubricant is compatible with latex?
Water-based and silicone-based lubricant. Anything containing oil or grease, including petroleum jelly, body lotion or massage oil, makes latex brittle so that it tears. A selection without oil is shown in the water-based lubricant collection.
What about a latex allergy?
Then these condoms are not suitable: they are made of latex, and latex can cause allergic reactions. In that case, choose a latex-free condom.
Are two condoms on top of each other safer?
No, quite the opposite: the friction between two layers makes them tear more easily. One condom is enough, and it is meant for a single use only. Afterwards, tie a knot in it and put it in the household waste rather than down the toilet.
How do you store the condoms?
Cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, for example in a bedside drawer; a wallet, trouser pocket or glove box gets too warm in the long run. The expiry date is printed on every foil; do not use condoms past that date.
How reliably do condoms protect?
No condom protects one hundred per cent. Used correctly, it lowers the risk of sexually transmitted infections and of unplanned parenthood. If one tears or slips off, stop straight away and use a new one.
