The Extra Thick from EXS is a condom with a particularly thick wall. Each condom comes individually sealed in a magenta wrapper with the round EXS logo and the words Extra Thick. It is available in packs of 12, 100 or 144; the pack of 100 comes as a clear bag with an instruction leaflet. The condoms are vegan and made without animal testing. Who is the thick wall meant for?

For everyone who likes a sturdier condom and prefers the sensation a little muted. If you want it as thin as possible instead, choose the Nano Thin or Air Thin from EXS.

Which lubricant suits it?

One that is water- or silicone-based. Leave out oil, petroleum jelly and rich creams, because they make latex brittle within minutes. You will find a selection under water-based lubricant.

What matters when putting it on?

Open the wrapper at the serrated edge with your fingers, not with your teeth. The condom goes on before the first contact. Squeeze the tip so no air stays inside and roll it all the way down; if it will not unroll, it is the wrong way round, and you take a new one. Always use just one, because two on top of each other rub together and tear more easily.

How do you store the condoms?

Dry, cool and dark, so not permanently in a wallet, the glovebox or next to the radiator. The expiry date is printed on every single wrapper; an expired condom is not used any more.

What applies afterwards?

Hold the condom at the rim while pulling out, as long as the penis is still erect, so it does not slip off. Then wrap it in a tissue and put it in the household waste, not down the toilet. Every condom is used only once, and switching between anal and vaginal means a fresh one.

And if you cannot tolerate latex?
