Three condoms by MY.SIZE from the Pro range in size 60, in a small, flat pack in dark blue. The number gives the nominal width in millimetres: the width the condom has when lying flat. On the colour scale on the front the 60 is backed in red. The material is Vytex latex, a latex with a greatly reduced protein content that smells little of rubber; the wall is very thin. It is still latex, though, so with a latex allergy these condoms are not an option. Made without animal ingredients, they are vegan. What are three pieces good for?

For trying out the size: after once or twice you know whether the condom lies smoothly without slipping or constricting. The small pack also takes up hardly any room in a toiletry bag or travel bag.

How do I find out whether 60 is my size?

What is measured is the girth of the erect penis at its thickest point; the pictogram on the side shows a ring around the shaft for this. The length plays no part in the choice. If the condom slips or creases, it is too wide; if it presses while you roll it on, it is too narrow.

What do I watch out for when putting it on?

Tear the foil open with your fingers and place the condom on with the rolled rim facing outwards. Pinch the tip between two fingers so that no air is trapped, then roll down to the base. Two condoms on top of each other rub against each other; one is enough.

Which lubricant fits?

One based on water or silicone, for example from water-based lubricant. Oil, petroleum jelly and greasy creams attack the latex.

How do I carry them without them suffering?

In a sturdy case or an inside pocket, but not for weeks in a wallet or trouser pocket, where warmth and friction wear the foil. At home they are kept cool, dry and dark. Every foil carries its expiry date; once it has passed, you take another one.
