What does the benzocaine do?

Benzocaine is a local anaesthetic and reduces sensitivity. How clearly you feel this differs from person to person; no particular duration can be derived from it.

What should you watch out for with the numbing gel?

If you feel less, you notice friction later, so make sure nothing rubs dry. If the skin burns, itches or reddens for you or your partner, stop using the condoms. With a known intolerance to benzocaine or other local anaesthetics they are just as unsuitable as with a latex allergy.

How do you put the condom on correctly?

Open the foil carefully with your fingers, never with teeth or scissors. Pinch the reservoir at the tip, place the condom on the erect penis and roll it down to the base, with the rolled rim on the outside, so that the gel stays on the inside against the penis.
